The wife and I was taking a drive and found this place the bartenders was super nice. She recommended the walleye special and it was delicious. For walleye fries and homemade coleslaw for $10 it was a great deal and the portion was well worth it.We are not from around here and asked her a good place to go to see the lake and she told us that there was a walk way right across the street which we thought was really cool after our walk we came back and she made sure we had drinks ready when we got there.10/10 would recommend this place and we for sure will be back!
Best tavern on the lake Michigan, foods great, live music and oh the liquor choices is top shelf stuff. I bartend and I'll tell ya it's great drinks. Staff is wonderful and gotta love the warm summer nights of getting a bite to eat and going to the beach right after. New ownership is a start to the next 100 years! I'm a neighbor right across the street and I love their hospitality ❤, 10/10 recommended to stop by and enjoy some burgers and wings 😋
If you're looking for an upscale place, this isn't it - but it's a nice place to go for a casual bite to eat. As someone who live less than a mile away, it's one of the few places we can go with our kids and get a quick bite to eat without having to drive 15 minutes into town or to meet the neighbors on our snowmobiles in the winter for a drink. Nothing super spectacular about the food, but it's bar food and is good enough for us on a late evening when we don't want to cook :)

Things have improved, and continue to improve all around with the recent ownership change.Love the Monday night trivia game and other entertainment there.
I wouldn't go here for anything but drinks. My mac and cheese was pretty terrible and the kids food wasn't good either. The waitress didn't remember my drink and had to be reminded. The place is super dirty too. The carpet should have been replaced about 10 years ago and every table is scratched and gross looking. There is dust and grime everywhere you look. I can't believe they are still in business, I guess people are too drunk to notice?
